Team Alstom was out en masse for the Rolling Stock Networking event at Derby Arena. As always, a great opportunity to meet suppliers current and potential. Every year this event grows and feels better than the year before. No less than 40 buyers and engineers attended the event to visit suppliers’ stands or to exchange in “meet the buyer” sessions. Another great opportunity for the team to reinforce our partnership intimacy with our supply chain. It’s quite incredible what this event has become !! You and Kevin Lane were the visionaries. Rolling Stock Networking (RSN) is an absolute must attend event for the Engagement team at the Rail Forum. The 2026 edition was the biggest yet and with over 90 members exhibiting (that’s nearly half the stands) it presented an unrivalled opportunity for our Engagement Managers to catch up with many members all in one place. Given the scale of the show, it’s no surprise that many exhibitors chose this event to launch new products including R2P’s FlexT camera and TidyCo’s Remote Condition Monitoring for railway air-conditioning! And it’s not just about the exhibitors (although they are of course key!) – the footfall is excellent – It was great to see many visiting members too and critically stakeholders from across the sector and vitally, key buying organisations. On the 2nd July 2026, Derby Arena hosted Rolling Stock Networking. This flagship event brings together rail professionals under one roof to engage, network and talk business. (Flotec wrote and entire article about RSN)

It was really good to get back to a full strength exhibition like RSN again and I think the quality of exhibitors was the best that I have seen at the event.
