Rolling Stock Networking, is intended to proceed on Thursday 3rd September 2020 at Derby Arena.
Following a number of enquiries regarding our Rolling Stock Networking Event, we are aware that a number of you are very keen for the show to proceed, therefore we wish to provide you with the best and latest information we have.
We understand that these are very challenging times for many of you and we will endeavour to do all we can to support your business in providing a safe platform for you to showcase your products and services.
The health and safety of our exhibitors and visitors is the number one priority and of paramount importance to the RSN event organisers, given this we will follow official Government advice at all times.
The RSN 2020 event is reliant on the UK Governments Covid 19 Recovery Strategy within which we are phase 3 paragraph 4.3. The formulation of the plan for delivery of events is presently being drafted by Government Departments in liaison with the Association of Events Organisers.
The 5th of July is the target date set so far for this easement as long as the 5 tests continue to be met. We are also dependent on the co-operation of the venue, Derby Arena. Presently all events, including ours, taking place in September onward are intended to proceed at the Venue and if that should change we expect to be advised no later than 7th July. Given this our confidence level is high and we will have two months to complete the organisation and deliver the event. In the unexpected outcome that we are advised differently we will contact all exhibitors immediately.
All of the stakeholders in the event, Rail Business Daily, Aegis, the RBD Conference and others that are providing additional show content, will be supporting the September date to ensure that the show delivers all of the great value and content for which our event is known. We will work tirelessly to provide a superb event for you in September and all of the news and promotion services that add value and form part of your booking will continue as normal up to the event.
Although this has been a very difficult period for everyone, the wellbeing of all involved remains our primary concern and we will continue to take positive action to protect everyone that has invested in the show and placed their faith in us. We are engaging with the Venue and included in our planning is the introduction of appropriate measures, guided by central Government, to keep all involved safe. This is expected to materialise in a number of changes to the management of hygeine, proximity, people and flow within the arena for which your co-operation will be valued.
We intend to deliver a superb exhibition, conference and seminar for our exhibitors, our visitors and the wider rail industry; in a safe and managed way that will reduce the risk for those involved.
